Going home with Odelia can be quite fascinating. For one, she hasn't touched or played with an old and outdated Ipod before. So she goes "Oooh" and "Aaaaah" over mine. Haha that's quite amusing cause she's kinda 'old' and "MATURE" (Note the caps and the inverted commas) So yeah (: Secondly, she laughs and feels amused when she comes out of the bus and her specs become foggy. She says, "I never wear specs on bus before! HAHAHA!" Or something like that. Thirdly, when she wants to press the bus bell, she says, "Do i ding-dong now?" So i say, "Yes press the ding-dong." Fourthly, she has no idea that she talks super loud in the bus and bus-stop when one ear piece in her ear. I'll have to tell her and she'll be like, "Oh. HAHAHAHA!" Haha so yesh. Saturday MJ's birthday, flashmob. Met Yen-Ling and Ilene at Ion today to do some late birthday shopping for the rest. We almost went broke. P/S: We had 80 bucks with us. So got this cute hat for Pei Ning which cost(ed) a BOMB for some small hat. PSSST. Let's play hang-man. And got this u_ _ _ _ _ _ _ r for Odelia (: Shall not elaborate more in case she reads it before she gets it :D And also for Theresa & Becky got this _ _ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ thingy at _ _ _ _. (: Walked all 8 levels of the huge Ion and almost dieded there. What's so good about having a big shopping centre? Flash mob was okay. Other than the walking and carrying the (heavy) bags for those who danced. Bleah. First MJ dance. At orchard centre where the other MJ stuffs were going on. 2nd flashmob outside Taka. Music was too soft and it ended in a failure dance hahah(: 3rd flashmob outside Taka again but with the help of speakers :D Awesome cause people we didn't know joined in too (: 4th flashmob outside Ion. Wanted to do inside but security didnt allow or something. 5th and last flashmob outside Taka again with help of the speakers. but not fun cause there was so little people dancing. Too lazy to upload the vids. Either go FB or other ppl's blog to see see (: Shavonne has to wake up early early tomorrow and is about to die because this week she didn't have any sleep until 12. She's gonna enjoy Teachers' Day on monday and sleep on Tuesday and never wake up. Sunday See that "shavonne has to wake up...." yah. She did wake up. but spent 3 hours practically doing nothing, walking (a lot) and complaining. See, it was the 5th week of the month so the fellowship ministry did a headstart by having a "games day" within the division. So we met at church at 8.30 a.m., and planned out and discussed the rules of the game. Then Hillary, Cassandra & I decided to go to Golden Pines first, where we thought the games were to be held. Waited & waited until... we realised that the rest were at McDonalds which was at church. So never mind, we walk back. When we reached Macs, they weren't there. Don't know how we people communicated that they had gone to the park. Which is farfaraway. So we walked. Reached the park. Guess what. They weren't there. So Hillary called Rachel. Guess what. They were at Macs AND found another place to hold the games. OKAY. So walk BACK to church & then to the basketball court. Story's too long and i'm too lazy to elaborate. Monday Teachers' Day. Some people are just so amusing (: I met three very cute people ranging from all ages today :) First was this little girl at the school bus stop. I had my earphones on and the liddle girl walked to me with her towel in her hand and waving it to me. So her grandmother (I think) let her stand on the bus stop seat thingy next to me. Then she gave me her towel (which i did not take) and kept waving. So all i could do was to smile at her, right? :D So then she let go of the towel and waved her hand towards me. So i just held her hands and then her bus came ): Secondly was when i was walking back home. I saw this old lady carrying an umbrella. And i smiled at her. And she smiled at me. Her smile was so sweet. And she said something in Chinese. Unfortunately, i had my ear phones on and i didn't know what she said. ): Lastly was this man trying to make a short cut (i don't know what for) which was only a few meters away from the slope which you can walk up. So never mind. Oh ya and there was a long kang (drain la) also. then i walked by him. Then he held up his hand (my music wasn't so loud so i could hear him talk) and said: Uncle: Eh, can help me anot? Me: Say nothing. -Uncle reaches out his hand- Uncle: Don't worry i very light. (...) -I reach out my hand then he held my hand and tried to climb up- After getting up, the uncle said: Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU. Hahahaha those three people really made my day.
